Lagforce installs HVAC and ventilation ductwork insulation for industrial, commercial and mechanical engineering projects throughout Ireland. We work with mechanical contractors on new installations and renew damaged or missing insulation in existing facilities.

Ductwork and rooftop services
Thermal insulation for ventilation and HVAC systems
We insulate spiral and rectangular ventilation ductwork, including bends, branches and connections to air-handling equipment. Insulation helps control unwanted heat transfer between the air within the duct and its surroundings. Where condensation is a concern, the insulation system and vapour barrier need to suit the service conditions.
We fit the specified insulation material, thickness and finish, from foil-faced insulation on internal services to protective metal cladding on external ductwork.
Protective cladding for external ductwork
Outdoor insulation needs an outer finish suited to exposure. Lagforce fabricates and fits aluminium cladding around insulated ductwork and associated mechanical services. Joints, terminations and equipment connections are considered as part of the complete installation.
Where the specification calls for it, we can provide stainless steel cladding. We retain access to inspection panels and components that need servicing.
Coordinate ductwork and pipework insulation
HVAC installations often include heating and chilled water services alongside the ductwork. We can include pipework insulation and plant room insulation in the agreed package, helping the mechanical contractor coordinate the insulation element of the project.
Replacement insulation and refurbishment
We renew missing or deteriorated ductwork insulation and protective finishes as part of refurbishment or maintenance works. Before replacement, we consider the condition of the installation, access and whether underlying issues need attention. See our repairs and upgrades service.
Send us your HVAC insulation enquiry
Email the site location, drawings or photographs, duct sizes and approximate quantities where available. Include the insulation specification, whether the ductwork is indoors or outdoors, any access restrictions and your proposed programme. For replacement work, photographs of both the damaged area and the surrounding installation are useful.
Can you insulate both spiral and rectangular ductwork?
Yes. We provide insulation and suitable protective finishes for these ductwork types to the agreed specification.
Can you work on external rooftop installations?
Yes. The proposed finish and site arrangements need to suit outdoor exposure and access conditions.
