Completed Work: Plant Room Pipework Insulation (Before and After)

Plant-room distribution pipework insulated by Lagforce, shown before and after the work. The finished installation covers the pipe runs and branches around the vessel, with removable covers on valves and fittings.

After: insulated pipe runs and branches, with removable covers around the equipment.

The work shown

Bare pipework in a plant room loses heat to the room and leaves surfaces hot to the touch. Here the copper distribution pipework around the vessel was insulated along its full length, including bends, branches and connections, so the system runs more efficiently and the room is safer to work in.

Removable covers for maintenance access

Valves and fittings are often left bare because they need to be reached for servicing. Removable insulation jackets close that gap: they can be taken off for inspection or maintenance and refitted afterwards, so insulation coverage is restored without re-lagging.
