The work shown
The insulation was fitted to ventilation ductwork and water services running at high level, working around branches, bends and service connections. Foil-faced fibreglass gives good thermal performance and a vapour-resistant facing, which helps control condensation on ductwork and cold water services.
Working alongside building services trades
High-level ductwork and pipework is usually insulated while other trades are on site, before ceilings are closed in. Lagforce works with mechanical contractors to fit insulation in sequence, so services are finished and inspected before they are covered.
