Insulation throughout the installation

Lagforce provides pipe lagging, plant-room insulation, vessel insulation and metal cladding throughout Ireland. We work as an insulation subcontractor alongside mechanical teams, with scope agreed from drawings, specifications and site information.

Heat loss and exposed fittings

Replacing missing insulation and covering exposed fittings on hot services helps reduce avoidable heat loss. The benefit depends on service temperatures, operating hours and the condition of the existing installation. We can review damaged insulation and cladding as part of an agreed repair scope.

Work around your maintenance programme

Tell us about shutdown dates, access arrangements and equipment requiring regular servicing. The scope can include renewed pipe insulation, protective cladding and removable covers, as appropriate to the agreed specification.

Typical manufacturing scope

  • Steam, condensate and process pipework
  • Compressed air, cooling water and chilled water services
  • Boiler houses and plant rooms
  • Process vessels, tanks and heat exchangers
  • Insulation repairs and reinstatement after maintenance

Materials and finishes

Industrial installations often combine several insulation types: mineral wool or phenolic on hot services, and closed-cell or vapour-sealed systems on cold services. Aluminium cladding protects insulation in working areas, and removable jackets keep valves and flanges insulated while staying accessible for maintenance.
